CURRENT POLICY PRIORITIES
The Uyghur Policy Act pushes to establish communication and release imprisoned Uyghurs with families in the United States. It also calls for Uyghur language training for Foreign Service Officers, and increased diplomacy with Muslim-majority nations to end the Uyghur genocide and protect Uyghurs living in them.
Uyghur Human Rights Protection Act (H.R.1630/S.1080) Will place further sanctions against CCP officials and entities, as well emphasize the need to protect the Uyghur diaspora, prioritizing asylum cases.
SOS will condemn the mass sterilization of Uyghur women in East Turkistan, which has led to a 50% birth rate decrease in some areas of East Turkistan.
